Are Zendaya and Odell Beckham Jr. getting hot and heavy, again?

In case you missed it, the “K.C. Undercover” star and New York Giants wide receiver were recently photographed together at a Knicks game. Days later, headlines suggested that the duo had rekindled their short lived flame.

So, when Extra caught up with the 20-year-old in NYC this week — where she was presented with the Launch of the Year by Michael Kors for her shoe collection Daya by Zendaya — it wasn’t a surprise she’d use the opportunity to clear up those pesky rumors of romance. “It happens all the time. Literally if I show up anywhere with anyone that automatically happens,” she said, shutting down gossip she’d found love (again) with the footballer.

She went on, “It’s funny because I didn’t go there with him, actually; he just happened to be there as well. I didn’t know he was going to be there. Immediately when I saw him I was like, ‘Oh, dang it!’”

As previously reported, earlier this year, the starlet opened up about a possible love connection with Beckham Jr. during a brief chat with Angie Martinez. “We’re…we’re still in interview stages…know what I mean?” she said during a game of “kill, marry, and date” with Chris Brown, Trevor Jackson and Beckham Jr. as her selections. “So it’s like dating anyway, might as well date him [Odell]!” Martinez prodded, to which Zendaya replied, “Exactly! Might as well keep that going.”

While the Disney star doesn’t appear to be head over heels in love, she’s got much to celebrate this holiday season, including her affordable footwear line. “I’m really inspired by the women in my life. I have big sisters, my mom, my older niece who’s in college, and my little nieces who are soon going to start wearing heels and want to go to school dances. Also, I was that girl with working parents who couldn’t afford Louboutins and wanted a great shoe to wear to my 8th grade dance. But that wasn’t available or they seemed cheap and felt like a knockoff. There’s a market for really ‘luxury’ looking and feeling shoes at a good price point,” Zendaya told Glamour of the inspiration behind her collection in July.
