Racists were enraged by a State Farm ad which depicted a Black man proposing marriage to a White man. The ad was introduced several days before Christmas and promoted marriage.
The photo featured the caption, “Who said yes? Cheers to the newly engaged this holiday season! Be sure to #ProtectTheBling!’” But moments after it was posted, racists attacked the post.
“What the hell are you doing? This is disgusting and nobody wants to see this,” @mc_morn tweet.
“Our patience is over and any white whores seen with these animals will be shunned shamed and made a second class citizen.”
Many of the racist tweets were from Donald Trump supporters. “Seriously, it’s ridiculous Trump’s America, now. We gotta be firm on this,” Brenda Gale tweeted.
The ad is another example of how racism and bigotry could take a turn for the worse under the Trump administration. The president-elect has yet to denounce racism and has hired several members to his staff who have racist ideologies.

But @StateFarm should be commended. They’ve proved once again that white America is dangerously racist and bigoted.

I just fell down a horrible racist rabbit hole when looking at the tweets in response to that State Farm ad tweet.
