Clippers’ DeAndre Jordan in car accident; Chris Paul nearby

Los Angeles Clippers player DeAndre Jordan was involved in a minor, two-vehicle crash Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2016, in Playa del Rey, California that left another person hospitalized.

The crash occurred around noon at the intersection of Vista del Mar and Waterview Street, according to Sgt. Steve Dolan of the Los Angeles Police Department’s West Traffic Division. The accident included a Tesla and an SUV. Details as to what caused the accident have not been released.

Jordan reportedly had no injuries, but witnesses told TMZ one person involved was seen with a sling on his arm and was transported to a hospital just a few blocks away. The extent of that person’s injuries is unknown.

The Clippers also informed TMZ Chris Paul was not involved in the accident, but was in the area when he heard about the crash and arrived on the scene with Clippers staffers to check on his teammate.

The Clippers’ next game is Wednesday at New Orleans.
