Per multiple outlets, Matt Jordan has been ordered to stay 200 yards away from the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kenya Moore in addition to ceasing all communication with the former beauty queen via phone call, text, e-mail, etc.
In the initial petition for a protective order, Moore’s team accused Jordan of calling the Bravo star “up to 30 times a day” between September 2016 and February 2017. They also claim Jordan made threats to Moore by way of a mutual friend, saying that his ex was going to “get what she deserves.”
Though Jordan has not yet responded to the protective order, a court date has been scheduled for the middle of April, according to media reports.
During season nine of the hit reality series, viewers watched the couple go through some real highs and lows. In fact, during last week’s episode (on Sunday, March 26), fans witnessed a tense confrontation between the pair.
“It’s painful to watch myself at my age tolerating such foolishness from anyone. I am ashamed,” Moore expressed in her blog after the episode had aired. “I focused so hard on breaking old habits of not running away when things get tough. Yet, this relationship was the exact scenario. I should have run away as fast as humanly possible.
“I am thankful to have moved on from what seems like a lifetime ago. My circle is completely different now. I do not now or will ever have any communication with him. I do not wish harm on anyone and hope that he can move on with his life and leave me completely alone. I don’t. I did. I’m done.”
The next episode of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” airs on Sunday, April 2, at 8 p.m. EST on Bravo. Will you be watching? Sound off in the comment section below.
