Golfer Tiger Woods was arrested on charges of driving under the influence early Monday morning in Jupiter, Florida
Woods, a Jupiter Island resident, was taken into custody at about 3 a.m. on Military Trail South of Indian Creek Parkway, WPTV reported.
He was released at 10:50 a.m.
The story is still developing and we will bring you more information as the day evolves.
Woods has not been the same ever since he was exposed as a serial philanderer and sex addict in November 2008. His career ever since has resembled the slow car crash of his upscale Cadillac Escalade within the exclusive gated community near Orlando, Florida on that fateful pre-Thanksgiving day nine years ago.
A man who won 14 major championships by 2008 has not come close to winning a major since. And because of multiple back and knee surgeries in the ensuing years, no one believes Woods has a chance to win any golf majors, much less threaten the all-time record of 18 held by the iconic Jack Nicklaus.
Stephen A. Smith on ESPN’s “First Take” said this DUI is the sign of a man who “is lost” and has been ever since his carefully cultivated image as a wholesome family man was ruined before the world.
