Lamar Odom opens up about his strained relationships with the Kardashian-Jenner crew, his plight with addiction and reveals whether he’s planning to give it a shot with his ex-wife, Khloé Kardashian, again. In an upcoming episode of “The Wendy Williams Show,” the former professional basketball player admitted hot difficult it was to cut ties with close friend and former brother-in-law Rob Kardashian.

“We were close,” he said in an exclusive clip shared via People. “He has a child. I haven’t met his child yet or anything.”

When asked why he and the reality star are no longer on speaking terms, Odom replied, “I don’t know. I guess maybe it’s because I hurt his sister too much. I have no idea. If she was my sister, I would have a problem with me too.”

In true Williams style — no topic being off limits — Odom also discussed his troubling past with drug and alcohol abuse. As previously reported, the 37-year-old nearly died after a near-fatal overdose in October 2015, after being discovered unconscious at a brothel in Nevada.

In January, Odom gave his first interview since the incident, with Dr. Travis Stork of “The Doctors,” where he detailed the dark place he had crawled into. “I wasn’t in a good place mentally before the incident happened,” he said. “My wife at the time, we were going through some things. And I was in a dark place.”

In September 2009, Odom and Kardashian tied the knot in what seemed the perfect ending to a fairytale love story. Only, brewing beneath the surface was but things a cheating scandal and drug addiction. In 2013, Khloe filed for divorce but called it off after Odom’s overdose incident. However, on Dec. 17, Odom’s divorce to the KUTK star was finalized after yet another unsuccessful attempt to tame his demons.

When asked if he would take back his ex-wife if given the chance, Odom replied, “No. I say that with no offense to her — that would be the best for both of us. We have to keep our distance.”

Check out Odom’s interview in its entirety on “The Wendy Williams Show” which airs Wednesday, June 27, at 10 a.m. (check local listings).
