LiAngelo Ball’s basketball career could be delayed by jail. The son of Lavar Ball and brother of Lonzo Ball was recently arrested in China.

According to ESPN, LiAngelo Ball and fellow UCLA freshman Cody Riley and Jalen Hill were arrested for allegedly shoplifting at the Louis Vuitton store in Hangzhou, China.

UCLA are in China to play an exhibition game against Georgia Tech. Police interviewed all of the players from each team and would not allow their coaches to be present.

Ball gained national attention after his brother, Lonzo Ball, became a leading player at UCLA last year. Their father, Lavar Ball, became the outspoken figure who introduced his Big Baller Brand to the world. Lonzo Ball currently stars on the Lakers.

If convicted, LiAngelo Ball, Riley, and Hill could face 10 years in prison. They are currently out on bond. Ball responded to the recent report by telling a reporter that “everything would be alright.”
