Khalid
At only 19 years old, Khalid has managed to transcend R&B to the mainstream, as well as pick up five Grammy nominations along the way. Born a military brat in Georgia and growing up in various places like Kentucky, New York and El Paso, Texas, Khalid’s sound has a mixture of Southern and Northern R&B. After the release of his single “Location” in 2016, Khalid’s fame began to boil and brimmed over into 2017, which was a year that proved a great success for him. By the time his album American Teen dropped in March 2017, Khalid already had tons of performances under his belt and made a name for himself in the music world.
