10. Rhiannon Walker

Walker continued to grow her rising star this year. The Undefeated youngster not only covered the important Black topics in sports like the death of Perry Wallace, the first Black basketball player to integrate the SEC, but she also uses her platform on social media to highlight some of the issues that she faces on daily basis as a member of the LGBTQ community. She covers a nice balance of pop culture, baseball, and HBCU football. On Twitter, she’s just as much about these jokes as she is with bringing social circumstances to the forefront.
