Music mogul Drake is about to channel his inner LeBron James and seriously floss his wealth with an outrageously custom-built mansion. Like his friend King James, who created an architectural masterpiece in his Akron, Ohio, hometown, Drake is going all out in the Toronto stomps where his spectacular career first rocketed into orbit.
The record-breaking Drizzy is probably much richer than we ever imagined. He has been setting new marks with chart-topping singles, embarking on massive world tours for years and launching 20 different radio singles at any given time. Therefore, the Canadian-born star is ready to enjoy some of the trappings of his wealth and fame.
The Toronto-bred Aubrey Drake Graham, 32, exploded onto the scene with the Grammy-winning single “The Best I Ever Had” in 2009 and just dropped the scorching Scorpion album in June that includes “In My Feelings” and which broke The Beatles record for charting the most singles at the same time. So it is not like Drake is not deserving to splurge a little.
The three-story mansion will reportedly replace this modest bungalow on the property he bought.
Drake’s mammoth mansion, according to TMZ, is about 35,000 square feet on a two-acre lot and will include some irresistible toys and luxuries. In a new publicly filed floor plan for a mansion he’s been working on for the past few years, the estate will include:
- An NBA-sized basketball court;
- 10-car garage for his Bentley (or Bentleys);
- A music room;
- An indoor pool;
- A sauna;
- And, most of all, a 941-square-foot master bedroom that takes up half of the second floor of the ostentatious home. The gargantuan bedroom will feature his own stairwell entrance, two dressing rooms, two closets, a steam shower, a tub with a skylight above, two balcony areas with an outdoor hot tub and a kitchenette.
Just sick.
