A man’s addiction to strippers eventually led to murder. Randy Jones of Fresno, California loved to indulge so much that he frequently used an on-call service that provided him with dirty dancers at any time of day.

Jones, 29, recently released from prison after serving time for a DUI conviction, was once able to fund his addiction to nude female dancers because of his relationship with individuals who made money through casino gaming, according to the Fresno Bee.

However, at some point, Jones’ funding ran low and he eventually racked up over $30K in unpaid dues owed to the strippers.

On March 3, Jones ordered another stripper to meet him in the parking lot of a Motel 6 in Fresno. The stripper arrived with Justin Garza, 23, a bodyguard who came to collect the money Jones owed. After the two men began talking, Jones allegedly walked to a waiting taxi, retrieved a gun and shot Garza multiple times. Garza died from the gunshot wounds.

Jones then allegedly aimed his gun at the stripper, but did not shoot her. Instead, he aimed the weapon at the cab driver’s face and forced him to drive. When the cab driver stopped at Jones’ home, Jones pulled the trigger. However, the chamber was empty. Jones threatened to kill the cab driver if he called the police.

On March 7, police arrested Jones on other charges, but they also discovered that he was the lead suspect in Garza’s murder after reviewing video footage captured by a security camera at the Motel 6.

Jones now faces one count of murder, attempted murder for the incident with the cab driver and one count of assault with a deadly weapon for pointing his gun at the stripper.
