Ludacris says LudaDay Weekend proceeds to benefit Hurricane Dorian victims

Ludacris has pledged to use proceeds from the 14th annual LudaDay Weekend to benefit victims of Hurricane Dorian. More than $100,000 was raised over the Labor Day weekend, the Atlanta-based rapper announced on his social media pages Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2019.

For 14 years, Ludacris has given back to the community by hosting the LudaDay Weekend. The four-day event takes place over Labor Day weekend and features parties, celebrity bowling, golf and a celebrity basketball game.

This year’s basketball game took place at Forbes Arena at Morehouse College and featured a lineup that included Jamie Foxx, Meagan Good, Mack Wilds, John Wall, YFN Lucci and other guests.

The weekend also raised money for the Ludacris Foundation, which focuses on educating the youth and assisting other child-focused charities in the Atlanta area.
