BLK & Bold co-founders share how they serve coffee lovers and the community

How have you successfully sustained your business during the pandemic?

Cezar: One of the things that I wish we could say we had foresight on was that more people would adopt making their own coffee in [their] home[s] at [the] astronomical rates that they have. We were fortunate to exist with our virtual stores online, on Amazon, and in retailers that didn’t shut down due to the coronavirus. Once consumers began to normalize where they shop, our business began to stabilize pretty rapidly. More people began to discover us, one virtually but also by way of us being a Black-owned business and being one of the few in our spaces and the only one that’s national. What we stand for as a brand and our community values have allowed for us to build a sustainable community of consumers that we think are going to rock with us for quite some time.
