What would be involved in finding a cure for you?

It would be a stem cell transfusion. All my donor would have to do is sit for four to six hours with an IV in their arm and let their blood circulate through a machine, where they filter out the cells that would then get implanted in me. … No surgery required. It will only take hours of their time to add years to my life.

If you had to identify a song to express how you’re feeling right now, what would it be?

That’s easy: “Bout It, Bout It.” I just need people who are about signing up for the registry and about taking action to spread the word and get more people to become donors. In the meantime, I’ll continue to push forward and endure. I’m not going to give up no matter how long it takes.
