How do you plan to reduce maternal health disparities by 50% over the next five years?
We collaborate with community leaders, state and national health care experts to change these trajectories. Understanding the very specifics about culturally appropriate care is an important place to make an investment, which we have had collecting data on disparities because you cannot manage what you cannot measure. Understanding where we are and where we are going [is how we’ll] get to that 50% reduction.
What would you like to say to future female leaders? What would you share with them about being a female leader?
As a female leader, you must believe you can do anything you want and put your heart and commitment into whatever that is. I share this with female leaders, and you can do whatever you want. Whatever that is for you, approach it with passion, commitment, energy, an open mind and a curious mind. Furthermore, define your success because you have it within yourself to do so.
