In the video obtained by The New York Times, Nichols praised Taylor, saying that she wishes here “all the success in the world,” but followed that by blaming ESPN for its “crappy longtime record on diversity.”
ESPN has not made any comment on the situation.
Nichols told The New York Times that she has reached out to Taylor but did not receive a response.
Nichols explained that she was expressing herself to a friend about her frustration, not with Taylor, but with ESPN.
