Just a few years ago, Will and Jada Pinkett Smith were the envy of Hollywood and pop culture with a seemingly loving, 25-year marriage that millions of Americans wanted to emulate.

That wholesome image did not age well. At all.

Fans now wonder if Will Smith is living in marriage hell after his wife’s surprising revelation during her 50th birthday celebration on “Red Table Talk.”

Over the weekend, fans got a glimpse of the latest episode of the ultra-popular Facebook Watch show. And they were taken aback by Pinkett Smith’s answer to comedian Arsenio Hall’s question on pre-recorded video on what is on her bucket list.

“I really want to learn how to love,” Pinkett Smith said.

Viewer confusion was amplified when Hollywood heavyweight George Clooney asked how Pinkett Smith puts up with her husband.

“I think what you really have to learn is how to have a friendship. I mean, really, how do you put up with anybody? How do you put up with yourself? Once you learn how to put up with yourself you really learn how to put up with all others,” Pinkett Smith said. “I think, for me, I had so much emotional maturity that I had to do. I really had to take the time to learn how to love myself because how we love ourselves is how we show people how to love us.”

Fans began to view the Smith’s marriage in a new light following the infamous August Alsina “entanglement” in 2020 that exploded like a stink bomb. And some openly wonder what Will Smith is entangled in a miserable marriage.
