Deion Sanders, JSU land top 100 recruit, but not because they promised millions

Through the Name, Image, and Likeness rule, Jackson State athletes, like many other schools, can receive endorsement deals. However, the chances highly recruited players like Hunter and Coleman are being offered more money than some of the historical powerhouses is highly unlikely.

Going to JSU is not an illogical decision for highly-rated recruits. A pro football Hall of Famer is the team’s head coach, and his staff is full of people with NFL experience. On the current roster, looking to next season, the Tigers return Jerry Rice Award winner Shedeur Sanders, former UGA commit De’Jahn Warren and South Carolina transfer Shilo Sanders.
