Lance Thompson, the CFO of Clark Atlanta University, is a Black history connoisseur who has a flair for both finance and the creative writing arts. The prolific nonfiction and fiction writer began conceptualizing his latest book, Black Wounds: The Pains, Scars and Triumphs of Black America, during the apex of the coronavirus pandemic and racial reckoning of 2020.
