Kendrick Lamar is back.

On April 17, the rapper announced the title of his new album, which is called Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers.

In the meantime, Lamar went on Twitter to respond to a tweet from 2012 that says “Kendrick Lamar is officially retired.” The album is set to release on May 13, 2022.

In August 2021, Lamar teased the record and said that it would be his “final TDE album.”

“May the Most High continue to use Top Dawg as a vessel for candid creators. As I continue to pursue my life’s calling,” Lamar wrote in a letter. “There’s beauty in completion and always faith in the unknown.”

The album will be Lamar’s first album since Damn released in 2017. He previously performed at Super Bowl LVI in Los Angeles, California.
