What does being a woman of power mean?
Power has a lot of different definitions. I say charting your course, thinking about where you want to go, and making decisions that are best for you. Letting your decisions be limitless regarding dreams and aspirations and tapping into that power is most important.
Why do you think women of color should be in leadership roles?
Young people can aspire to attain those roles when they see people like us in those seats. It’s important for us to rise through the ranks, the representation is always there.
How can we support Black women?
We talk about diversity, equity and inclusion, but the next phase is about belonging. How do we make sure our women have a seat and a voice at that table. By letting it be known that our opinions have value.
