For future reference, Juvenile will always be standing on business when it comes to his name being used on flyers to promote shows.

The Cash Money Records veteran recently used Instagram to call out Usher’s Lovers & Friends festival for using his name on the flyer despite failing to send him a deposit to secure his services.

“Here we go again, man,” Juvie began. “These cats at Lovers & Friends — whoever in charge of Lovers & Friends, man, y’all doing bad business, man. Y’all done put my name on a flyer and y’all know you ain’t sent me no deposit, ain’t sent me no bread or nothin’.”

“[Y’all] keep on playing games, talking ’bout y’all gonna get back at me,” he continued. “Look, y’all playing games with the wrong m—–f—a, man. If y’all gon’ book me — if y’all not gon’ book me, take my m—–f—ing name off y’all flyer. I ain’t got no problem with that, I could do something else with my time.”

“Don’t put my f—ing name on y’all flyers if y’all know you ain’t paid me no money. That’s f—ed up. It’s only one way to do business — THE RIGHT WAY.”

This isn’t the first time the brass at Lovers & Friends have been called out for promoting artists as part of the show before actually booking the artists. Other notables who have experienced the same issue include The Dream, Lil’ Kim, Ma$e, and Mary J. Blige.

Minor scheduling hiccups aside, the festival continues to grow in size and popularity with 2024 looking to be its biggest and best yet.

In addition to headliners Usher, Janet Jackson, and Backstreet Boys, a virtual who’s who of music superstars including Alicia Keys, Ciara, Nas Lil Wayne, Snoop Dogg and TLC are slated to take the festival stage.

Other highlights of the festival will include Lil Wayne and Usher both performing their magnum opus albums, Tha Carter III and Confessions, respectively, in their entirety. The latter being in celebration of its 20th anniversary.

Lovers & Friends will take place on May 4 in Las Vegas.
