Jonathan Majors has been hit with brand -ew abuse allegations by two ex-girlfriends just months after being found guilty of second-degree harassment and third-degree misdemeanor assault of ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari in a March 2023 incident.
On Thursday, Feb. 8 the New York Times published an article in which Emma Duncan and Maura Hooper, both former girlfriends of the Creed III actor, give detailed accounts of alleged emotional and physical abuse they say they suffered at the hands of Majors.
Majors’ lawyer, Priya Chaudhry, admitted the 34-year-old actor “did say hurtful things” within both relationships that she described as “toxic,” but adamantly denied any and all claims of any physical abuse taking place.
“These relationships were between young drama students and all began with mutual intensity,” Chaudhry said about both volatile relationships.
Hooper claims during their relationship between 2013 and 2015, Majors emotionally abused her and highlighted an alleged incident in which Majors didn’t escort Hooper home after dropping her off at an abortion clinic to end their pregnancy.
“Mr. Majors and Ms. Hooper mutually agreed that they should end the pregnancy,” Chaudhry responded. “That deeply sad event is still a painful memory for Mr. Majors.”
In Duncan’s relationship with the “Lovecraft Country” actor that lasted from 2015 to 2019, she claims they were engaged during the entirety of their romance and that he subjected her to both emotional and physical abuse and recalled a time he once threw her across a room.
While acknowledging that “many serious arguments” did take place, Chaudhry denied Duncan’s claim of being thrown across a room.
Majors is facing up to a year in jail after pleading not guilty of assaulting Jabbari and will learn his fate at his rescheduled sentencing hearing on April 8.
