Michael B. Jordan is getting vulnerable with the public. The star actor recently went on the “On Purpose With Jay Shetty” podcast and pulled back the curtain of the hit his personal life has taken in his professional pursuits.

“There’s a loneliness that I have. The responsibility that you have is isolating and the weight is isolating,” he said, according to U.S. Weekly. “The worst part of that is the feeling like nobody really understands. Sometimes falling into the spaces of being alone, feeling alone.”

His relationship with romance is also a complicated one, despite being once crowned as the People magazine’s “Sexiest Man Alive” in 2020.

“I go back and forth between wanting partnership and then not knowing [who] the best partner for me [is],” he said.

In June 2022, Jordan announced his public breakup with model Lori Harvey, Steve Harvey’s stepdaughter. Jordan appears to have been single ever since.

“There’s also a part of me that really hasn’t lived life yet…I haven’t traveled for fun,” Jordan said. “I gotta start living. I’ve sacrificed, and I’ve zoned in for so long.”

The star also clarified that he’s not currently looking to date and said it’ll take a very special person to “understand and grow with me.”
