Beyoncé’s country music album is drawing praise at even the highest ranks of society, including the government.

Count none other than Vice President Kamala Harris among those lauding Queen Bey for taking her musical career where many never imagined it going.

Though she has been trolled by country fans who doubted Beyoncé, Mrs. Carter is the first Black woman to top Billboard’s country chart.Harris wasn’t the only prominent voice weighing in. Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer also shared a clip of herself with country boots-clad feet on her desk.

Hookstead also said of the album, “It’s not good. It’s not good at all, in my humble opinion. I’m not even sure how to describe it, but whatever it is, it’s damn sure not country music. You’re free to disagree (let me know at [email protected]), but I think many country music fans will agree.”
