Lil Yachty faced severe criticism on social media when he theorized that rappers are “so mean” because they are “ugly as f—.”
The mocking from fans intensified when Yachty described himself as “gorgeous” and was subsequently a “happy” man in comparison to his allegedly less attractive contemporaries.
“I personally think that rappers are so angry and so mad and so ‘grrr’ all the time because they’re ugly as f—,” he said to his 12 million Instagram followers.
“A lot of rappers don’t like what they see when they wake up and they realize that they probably only get women because they get money,” Yachty contained. “Me, on the other hand, I’m gorgeous. And, it’s like I’m happy; life’s great. I got some money, decent looking. I smell great.”
Fans were not feeling Yachty’s stream of consciousness. Some said that this statement makes fans further question his masculinity.
“Painting his nails and judging men by their looks? Yeah, it’ll be tough to beat them allegations now,” one fan said.
“The pot calling the kettle black 😬,” added another person.
“Super stale a–,” a third one simply said.
“My man really bought fake teeth and expensive cologne plus a shit ton of jewelry just so he could be delusional… hate to see it 😒,” while a fifth person said, “bro tryna convince himself smh … boy, sit down,” a fourth respondent opined.
