OJ Simpson passed away still owing over $100 million to the families of his alleged victims Nicole Brown and Ronald Goldman. And the families want their money.

However, the executor of the NFL legend’s estate said he will work to ensure that the Goldmans do not see a single penny.

Attorney Malcolm LaVergne, who had represented Orenthal James Simpson since 2009, told the (Las Vegas) Review-Journal that he does not want the Goldman family to see any money from Simpson’s estate.

“It’s my hope that the Goldmans get zero, nothing,” LaVergne said. “Them specifically. And I will do everything in my capacity as the executor or personal representative to try and ensure that they get nothing.”

Simpson was named LaVergne as the executor in his final will and he will be in charge of Simpson’s estate. Simpson died on Wednesday evening, April 10, 2024, after a prolonged fight with prostate cancer.

LaVergne said he was shocked when he was named the estate’s executor.

“I am flummoxed as to why he would name me as the personal representative or the executor, but he did,” LaVergne said. “And it’s something I’m going to take very seriously.”

LaVergne told the newspaper that it was too early to tally up the value of Simpson’s estate.

“I can’t make a prediction right now as to what the value of the estate is,” he said.

Simpson was tried and acquitted of murder charges in the brutal slayings of Brown and Goldman in June 1994. Simpson, however, was tried in a civil wrongful death trial in 1995 and was found liable.
