Drake is still on the clock.
After Kendrick Lamar dropped a diss song aimed at Drake titled “euphoria,” on April 30, the West Coast rapper didn’t wait for a response. Instead, he released another song on his Instagram titled “6:16 in LA.”
In response to Drake’s two diss songs, Lamar released “euphoria” where he took shots at the Canadian rapper mentioning his son, his lifestyle, and how the culture views him. In his latest song, Lamar takes another angle to diss, claiming that Drake has people in his circle who are leaking his business.
“These images trouble you, know the wires in your circle should puzzle you/If you were street smart, then you woulda caught that your entourage is only to hustle you/A hundred n—– that you got on salary, and twenty of ’em want you as a casualty/And one of them is actually, next to you/And two of them is practically tied to your lifestyle, just don’t got the audacity to tell you,” Lamar raps.
Kendrick Lamar claims Drake is paying to find dirt
Lamar also alluded that Drake was paying for people to find dirt on him.
“Every dog gotta have his day, now live in your purpose/It was fun until you start to put money in the streets. Then lost money, ’cause they came back with no receipts/I’m sorry that I live a boring life, I love peace,” Lamar raps.
In the end, Lamar mentioned Michael Jackson saying, “It’s time you look around on who’s around you, before you figure that you’re not alone, ask what Mike would do,” referencing the late pop star’s song “You Are Not Alone.”
