Future and Gunna beefing?

For the past few weeks, everyone who is a fan of hip-hop music has been following the Drake and Kendrick Lamar rap beef. In a matter of six days, the two artists managed to put out five songs altogether, taking shots at each other whether it involved family, close friends, or other serious allegations.

With people calling this one of the biggest back-and-forths in hip-hop history, there’s a chance that nothing else can exceed what happened in such a short period. It looks as if the two are finished battling for now, but that doesn’t mean that other artists aren’t starting beefs.

Fans are now speculating that Atlanta rappers Gunna and Future are taking shots at each other after a few social media posts came to light recently.

On the morning of May 7, Future posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, “F— yo album S— ain’t slapping like my MIXTAPE.” An hour later he followed it up with “MAY TENTH.”

For a while now, everyone has known that Gunna is releasing his project, One of Wun, on May 10 as well. Hours later, Gunna posted on X, “Turn this s— bac up Notch ……!” and right after that message, he posted, “F– What These boys talkin bout.”

This is a new development in the hip-hop world because many people didn’t suspect that those two would be going against each other, especially since they’ve made music together in the past, most notably the song “Too Easy.”

It’s also not too hard to believe since several rappers had seemed to turn their back on Gunna after he was released early from the YSL RICO case, which Young Thug is currently still in jail for. There was suspicion that Gunna snitched on his rap partner, but he made sure to let it be known that he didn’t.

Once May 10 arrives, things will be more clear depending upon whether any new disses are issued about either project.
