Tia Jayed wants to clear the air about the viral video of Drake kissing her onstage during a concert in 2010 when she was 17-years-old.

Having resurfaced during his rap battle with Kendrick Lamar, the infamous video has been used as fuel in ongoing allegations of sexual inappropriateness with minors against the Toronto rapper.

Jayed, now 31-years-old, recently took to her Instagram stories to speak up on some “false narratives” that she says are out there writing:

“Regarding the video that’s going around …

I was 17 back then and I’m 31 now. This was a concert that my dad took me to back in high-school. Drake’s entourage actually picked me out from the crowd of people…NOT DRAKE himself.

(BTW performers always bring up fans on stage… it’s part of their show)

It was nothing then and still nothing now.

Now that I have cleared up these false narratives…I’m going back to study for my law school Exams. wish me luck”

First surfacing in 2019, the awkward video recorded at Denver’s Ogden Theater on May 17,2010 shows the then 23-year-old “What’s Next “rapper asking her age before eventually kissing her.

“Aye, y’all gonna have me get carried away again. I get in trouble for the s— like this… How old are you?” Drake asks.

“17,” Jayed is heard saying causing the audience to boo before Drake responds “I can’t go to jail yet, man! 17?! Why do you look like that? You’re thick. Look at all this.”

“Well, I guess that brings [this] to a close huh,” he says before continuing on with his performance. “I don’t know if I should feel guilty or not, but I had fun. I like the way your breasts feel against my chest. I just want to thank you,” he says before playfully kissing her on the hand, then each cheek, then on her forehead, and then on the lips.

With the almost fifteen year old video back in the news and other accusations being made, Drake has used his most recent battle cry, “The Heart Part 6”, to fend off the accusations being hurled at him.

“If I was f—— young girls, I promise I’d have been arrested,” the now 37-year-old raps. “I’m way too famous for this s— you just suggested.”
