Rep. Jasmine Crockett has filed a trademark application for the rights to the phrase “BLEACH BLONDE BAD BUILT BUTCH BODY” after insulting Rep. Majorie Taylor Greene with the statement during a House Oversight Committee session on May 16.
The lawmakers were meeting to vote on hold Attorney General Mack Garland in contempt for refusing to give an audio recording of Joe Biden’s interview with special counsel Robert Hur.
That’s when the debate between the two women started, with Greene saying to Crockett, “I don’t think you know what you’re here for. I think your fake eyelashes are messing up what you’re reading.”
As the two went back and forth, Crockett later said, “I’m just curious. If someone on this committee then started talking about somebody’s bleach blonde built butch body, that would not be engaging in personalities, correct?”
The next day, Crockett began advertising “A Crockett Clapback Collection,” which she said would consist of random things that she’s said.
So we are going to drop “A Crockett Clapback Collection.” This collection will feature various swag that includes random things I’ve said. The money will go to ensuring that we have a Democratic House! Give me a little time to really get the swag online etc., but B6 will drop… pic.twitter.com/7RnPQ4jVHs
