Diddy scrubs Instagram clean

Sean “Diddy” Combs has taken a digital mop to his Instagram, leaving it sparkling clean — or perhaps eerily empty.

The 54-year-old Bad Boy Records founder, currently facing a string of sexual assault cases, also removed the apology video he posted back in May to say sorry after hotel footage emerged of him beating his 37-year-old former girlfriend in 2016.

Listen to The Love Album: Off the Grid is the only thing that survived Diddy’s Instagram purge along with his bio and a link to the Grammy nominated record.

Combs also hasn’t posted on his X profile since Feb. 4, but his profile remains live. His Threads account is also still public, but he hasn’t been active on the site since August 2023.

This grand Instagram detox follows the news that Diddy missed his twin daughters’ prom. While he’s reportedly been hanging out in Florida since federal agents paid an unwelcome visit to his Miami and Los Angeles pads in March, his 17-year-old twins Jessie and D’Lila had to rock their prom looks without their father’s paparazzi flair.

According to “TMZ,” Diddy’s missed some significant daddy duties due to his mounting legal troubles. However, they also noted that he has historically been a pretty hands-on parent – especially for the girls, who were with him during the aforementioned federal raids. Federal authorities haven’t put any travel restrictions on him, so he’s free to jet set – just maybe not to prom.

“It’s frankly a precarious time, and it sounds like he’s trying to avoid roping his kids into the drama.” “TMZ” summarized Diddy’s dilemma.

The storm began brewing in November 2023 when Cassie Ventura, Diddy’s long-time ex-girlfriend, dropped a lawsuit bombshell accusing him of rape and physical violence. The pair settled the very next day for an undisclosed amount.

Diddy then apologized in a video posted online when hotel surveillance footage from March 2016 surfaced showing him kicking, dragging and throwing an object at the singer.

Currently, multiple women are suing Diddy for sexual assault. He continues to deny any wrongdoing through his lawyer.

In addition to his twin daughters Jessie and D’Lila, Diddy’s family tree includes King, from his late partner Kim Porter, who tragically passed away in 2018. He also raised Porter’s son Quincy, and co-parents Justin, 30, Chance, and his youngest, 19-month-old Love, from relationships with Misa Hylton, Sarah Chapman, and Dana Tran, respectively. With such a large family, it’s no wonder Diddy’s social media could use a little spring cleaning — or perhaps a full-on renovation.
