The much-anticipated Hulu’s Onyx Collective series, “How to Die Alone,” created by and starring Natasha Rothwell, has officially announced its premiere date. Audiences can look forward to the series debut on September 13.

“How to Die Alone” offers a compelling narrative centered around Mel, portrayed by Rothwell, a financially struggling, plus-sized Black woman working at JFK airport. Mel, who has never experienced love and has lost sight of her dreams, finds herself on a transformative journey after a near-death experience inspires her to start living life to the fullest.
Cast and production
The series features a talented ensemble, including Conrad Ricamora as Rory, Jocko Sims as Alex, KeiLyn Durrel Jones as Terrance, and Bashir Salahuddin as Brian. Rothwell not only stars in the lead role but also serves as co-showrunner alongside Vera Santamaria. Both are executive producers, along with Desiree Akhavan.
