Lil Jon represented Georgia as only he could at the 2024 Democratic National Convention in Chicago. On Aug. 20, during the national roll call, when Georgia came up, Jon appeared from the top of a section in the stands with his microphone as he performed “Turn Down for What.”

When he got to the lower level, Jon began performing “Get Low,” remixing the infamous lyrics “to the window to the wall” to “VP Harris to the [Tim] Walz.”

Congresswoman Nikema Williams then announced Georgia’s 123 necessary delegates nominated Kamala Harris to be on this year’s general election ballot.

“In the spirit of ‘Good Trouble,’ Georgia casts 123 votes for the next president of the United States, Kamala Harris,” Williams said, with Jon dancing and smiling next to her. Also featured in the pit was Sen. Raphael Warnock, who also spoke at the DNC earlier in the week.

Social media dubbed Jon’s entrance as the “most lit roll call ever,” according to X user @PettyLupone.

Other standout moments throughout the night included California playing the instrumental to Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” single, a diss track toward Drake.

As far as speeches go, the Democrats’ lineup for the second night of the convention included Bernie Sanders, Harris’ husband Doug Emhoff, Michelle Obama and Barack Obama. The Obamas poked fun at Republican nominee Donald Trump for continuously bringing up Harris’ audience size for her events and using the term “Black jobs” in a previous debate earlier this year against President Joe Biden.

Trump’s former press secretary Stephanie Grisham also spoke during the night, calling out her former boss. Grisham said she’s endorsing Harris because her country is more important than her party.
