Season five of the “It Is What It Is” podcast has officially launched, and it started with a bang. The legendary rapper Mase delivered an impressive two-minute freestyle over Common and Ye’s classic 2005 track, “The Corner.” This electrifying performance set the tone for what promises to be an exciting season.

Right from the start, Cam’ron showered Mase with compliments, praising his overall appearance, particularly his fresh haircut and remarkable 70-pound weight loss. The Harlem native was curious about Mase’s transformation, probing for details on how he achieved such impressive results.

Weight loss secrets revealed

In a lighthearted exchange on the podcast, Cam’ron jokingly asked Mase if he had resorted to the popular weight loss drug Ozempic. Mase, with a smile, playfully dismissed the suggestion, saying, “That’s the hate I want. That’s the hate I needed.” He then shared his secret to success: working with a professional bodybuilder named Ricky Moore and adopting an alkaline diet. Mase’s current diet consists of fruits, vegetables and water.

This commitment to health and wellness is a testament to Mase’s dedication to his craft and personal well-being.

Podcast success

Last year, Mase and Cam’ron signed a lucrative $30 million deal with Underdog Fantasy for their podcast, which has garnered immense popularity. Their unique blend of rap and sports commentary has attracted a diverse audience.

As the duo continues to entertain and inform, fans can look forward to more engaging discussions and insights in the upcoming episodes of “It Is What It Is.”
