In a recent episode of his podcast, “We Playin’ Spades,” Nick Cannon, the father of 12, shared his thoughts on Brazilian Butt Lifts and the evolving beauty standards in today’s society. Cannon, alongside co-host Courtney Bee and TikTok stars Raymonte and Davey Bad, engaged in a lively discussion about the perception of cosmetic enhancements.

Natural vs. enhanced: Cannon’s preference

During the podcast, Raymonte posed a question to Cannon, asking if BBLs feel hard. Cannon responded candidly, stating, “They feel like basketballs. I’d much rather [have] natural women.” This statement sparked a debate among the hosts, particularly when Raymonte challenged Cannon’s preference for natural bodies.

“It is what it is. I appreciate [their] creativity,” Cannon added, acknowledging the artistry behind cosmetic procedures while expressing his preference for natural beauty.

The shift in beauty standards

As the conversation progressed, Cannon clarified that he appreciates a natural BBL-looking body, which raised eyebrows among his co-hosts. Raymonte argued that this perspective suggests Cannon and many men prefer bodies that mimic the enhanced look of BBLs rather than truly natural forms.

BBLs have been a hot topic in recent years, with many celebrities, including rapper DreamDoll, expressing a desire to revert to their natural bodies. This sentiment reflects a growing trend where individuals are reassessing their choices regarding cosmetic enhancements.

Celebrity trends: Going natural

Nick Cannon is not alone in his views. Rumors have circulated about the Kardashian sisters, particularly Kim and Khloé, reportedly having their BBL procedures reversed, leading to noticeable changes in their appearances. As the public becomes more aware of the implications of cosmetic surgery, many are opting for a more natural look.

With the rise of social media influencers and celebrities openly discussing their experiences with cosmetic procedures, the conversation around beauty standards is evolving. The shift towards embracing natural beauty is gaining momentum, challenging the long-standing ideals that have dominated the industry.
