Rich Homie Quan’s traumatized girlfriend, Amber Williams, explained to his fans that she is left in ruins emotionally and will “never be the same” after discovering his lifeless body in their home on Thursday, Sept. 5.
“This pain is unbearable,” Williams penned to her 300K Instagram followers on Saturday evening. “I’m traumatized from a moment that’ll forever be in my head.”
Williams and Rich Homie — born Dequantes Devontay Lamar 33 years ago — were in a relationship for the past 15 years and shared two children together.
She spoke forcefully in the letter, saying she has “nothing to prove because my love for my other half was ALWAYS shown, I had nothing to hide.” Williams’ comments indirectly address allegations that the “Type of Way” rapper had multiple side women on his sexual roster.

According to the police report obtained by TMZ, Williams explained that Rich Homie had fallen asleep on the couch the night before. She thought he was still deep in slumber when she saw him the next morning as she prepared to take her child to school. She put a cover over him and proceeded out the door.
It wasn’t until she returned home that alarm bells rang in her head. Quan had not moved an inch since she left him on the couch the night before.
That’s when she checked and “didn’t feel a heartbeat” and didn’t see him breathing.
“When I turned him over, he kind of foamed at the mouth,” she sobbed as she explained the situation to 911 dispatchers, according to the entertainment publication.
“Our house is no longer a home. I’m completely heartbroken 15 years gone. I’ll never be the same. This is a complete nightmare,” she added on her IG page.
“We never could let go, but you didn’t have to leave me like this. #Numb.”
