A legacy of soul
Formed in Philadelphia in 1966, The Stylistics emerged from two high school singing groups, The Percussions and The Monarchs. Under the guidance of producer Thom Bell and renowned songwriters Burt Bacharach and Linda Creed, they crafted a remarkable catalog of hits that helped shape the sound of Philadelphia soul. Their contributions to music have earned them two GRAMMY Awards and a well-deserved place in the Philadelphia Music Alliance’s Walk of Fame.
Opening act: Tom’s Elton Tribute
Adding to the excitement of the evening, Tom’s Elton Tribute, a homage to the iconic British singer Elton John, will open for The Stylistics. Led by Tom Cridland, this tribute promises to be a fitting complement to the soulful sounds of The Stylistics.
