Zoë Kravitz and Channing Tatum could be brought “back together” by working together on their next project.
The actors are said to have split last weekend, almost exactly a year after they got engaged; they are also set to start filming the upcoming Alpha Gang in spring 2025.
“Film is their passion, so it could bring them back together. They thrive while being on set together and will be able to get through it. Both of them are very professional, and there is no bad blood between them.” an insider told Us Weekly about how it could reignite their relationship.
Tatum and Kravitz met in 2021 while they were working together on Kravitz’s directorial debut Blink Twice, which came out in August. In the movie, Tatum plays a demented billionaire who abuses women on a Jeffrey Epstein-style island retreat by having them drugged before they are sexually assaulted by him and his rich guests.
“[They] are opposites, but they always bonded over their love for art and film. … That is what held them together.” a source also told UsWeekly about why the pair stayed together.
But the insider said once the making of Blink Twice was over “they realized they were on different pages with what they wanted.”
“It fizzled fast after their press tour [for Blink Twice wrapped … it put] a lot of pressure on them,” the source continued.
Kravitz was married to actor Karl Glusman before they split in 2021 after less than two years of marriage.
The UsWeekly source added the actress is “very independent” and “expressed that she didn’t necessarily need to get married again” after her split from Glusman.
According to Us Weekly, Tatum is a “family man” and “very involved” with his daughter, Everly, who he had with his actor and dancer ex-wife Jenna Dewan.
