The newest professional women’s basketball league is just a few months away from its first season, and we now know who will play for each club.
Unrivaled announced its team rosters on Wednesday, Nov. 20, marking the league’s next step as it prepares for the season debut in January. The 3-on-3 competition, which takes place on a “compressed full court,” features six teams of five players and claims to pay “the highest average salary” in women’s professional sports. Several of the WNBA’s finest players have agreed to play in the league, which will run from Jan. 17 to March 17, nearly two months before the season begins.
