Beyoncé is reportedly tremendously relieved after the rape case against her husband Jay-Z has been dropped.

Jay had been charged with allegedly teaming up with Diddy and drugging and raping an underage girl, identified in court records only as Jane Doe, at an afterparty of the MTV Video Music Awards in 2002. After months of media maneuvering by both sides, Jane Doe decided to withdraw her civil lawsuit on Friday, Feb. 14.

Meanwhile, Diddy remains in federal custody without bail on charges of racketeeing, sex trafficking and prostitution while staring at life in prison if he is found guilty on all charges.

Beyoncé let her feelings be known

Bey is relieved to have this tumultuous episode in her rear-view mirror.

“Relief is too simple a word to describe what Bey is feeling right now after Jay’s current legal issues were dropped,” the Daily Mail reports a Bey insider saying.

The newspaper further stated, “While they put on brave faces, behind the scenes, it was a stressful time for Beyoncé, bringing back memories of when Jay had previously broken her trust. On top of that, their children were affected.”

Queen Bey was prepared to support her husband had the case gone to trial, much like fellow global superstar Rihanna has stood by her man, A$AP Rocky, throughout his felony gun case in Los Angeles.

Now, Bey is able to put on a single-minded mentality as she approaches her world tour to support her Grammy-winning album, Cowboy Carter.

‘Now, Beyoncé can focus on her upcoming tour, her business, being a mom and wife, and enjoy the success of her recent Grammy wins,” the source concluded. “It’s a great Valentine’s Day for her to focus on family and the future without the weight of this case hanging over her.”

Jay-Z issued a statement obtained by outlets like The Daily Mail, stating, “Today is a victory. The frivolous, fictitious and appalling allegations have been dismissed. This civil suit was without merit and never going anywhere.

“The fictional tale they created was laughable, if not for the seriousness of the claims. I would not wish this experience on anyone.”

The statement continued: “The trauma that my wife, my children, loved ones and I have endured can never be dismissed.”

Jay-Z is outraged by the lack of repercussions for filing a false lawsuit

“This 1-800 lawyer gets to file a suit hiding behind Jane Doe, and when they quickly realize that the money grab is going to fail, they get to walk away with no repercussions. The system has failed,” Jay wrote.

“The court must protect victims, OF COURSE, while with the same ethical responsibility, the courts must protect the innocent from being accused without a shred of evidence. May the truth prevail for all victims and those falsely accused equally.”
