Lil Nas X, Lizzo, and Kim Petras will headline the Outloud Music Festival at Los Angeles’ WeHo Pride. This powerful lineup represents three of the most influential LGBTQ+ voices in contemporary music, with combined global streams reaching record-breaking heights.
The trio will be the star attractions at the two-day event, which will take place on May 31 and June 1. The festival is expected to draw massive crowds from across the country, making it one of the largest Pride celebrations on the West Coast.
The outdoor event – which will return to West Hollywood Park in 2025 – will be produced by entertainment agency JJLA, and is set to feature performances from Paris Hilton, Honey Dijon, Shygirl Presents: Club Shy, Pabllo Vittar, Rebecca Black, Empress Of, Horse Meat Disco, Tommy Genesis, Sasha Colby, Alyssa Edwards and Onya Nurve. West Hollywood Park has been a historic gathering place for LGBTQ+ celebrations for decades, symbolizing years of progress and visibility.
Flyana Boss, Alex Chapman, The Knocks x Dragonette with Aquaria, Meredith Marks (DJ Set), Frankie Grande, Corook, Rose Gray, Chrissy Chlapecka, Zoe Gitter, Xana, Kalie Shorr, Grant Knoche and Neverending Nina will also perform while more acts will be announced in the coming months. The festival’s diverse lineup spans multiple genres including pop, hip-hop, electronic, and alternative music, reflecting the rich diversity within the LGBTQ+ community.
“At a time when our rights and visibility continue to be challenged, it’s more important than ever for the LGBTQ+ community, allies and advocates to come together in solidarity,” Jeff Consoletti, Outloud founder and executive producer, told Variety. “This festival is a place where we celebrate and empower queer artists on a massive scale. As we continue to grow, so does our impact in bringing the LGBTQ+ community to the forefront of entertainment.” The festival has grown significantly since its inception, becoming a cornerstone event for Pride celebrations nationwide.
City of West Hollywood Mayor Chelsea Lee Byers added: “We’re thrilled to have the Outloud Music Festival as part of WeHo Pride weekend in West Hollywood. Each year, Pride Starts Here and we have so much planned for WeHo Pride. Right now, as adverse forces threaten our hard-fought rights, it’s vitally important to create safe and affirming space for LGBTQ+ people and to celebrate artists and performers who embrace that love always wins. It will be an amazing WeHo Pride weekend in West Hollywood, and I encourage everyone to stay up to date on the latest by visiting wehopride.com.” West Hollywood has long been recognized as a sanctuary city for the LGBTQ+ community, with policies specifically designed to protect and celebrate diversity.
The 2025 festival marks a significant milestone for headliner Lil Nas X, who has become one of music’s most boundary-pushing artists since coming out. His performances have consistently challenged norms while advocating for LGBTQ+ visibility in mainstream music, reaching fans worldwide with his message of authenticity.
Lizzo, known for her messages of self-acceptance and body positivity, brings her powerful vocal talents and inclusive message to the festival stage. With multiple awards and chart-topping hits, her performance is expected to be one of the weekend’s highlights, drawing on her catalog of anthems that have resonated deeply with the LGBTQ+ community.
Kim Petras makes history as a transgender woman headlining the festival, following her groundbreaking Grammy win and multiple chart successes. Her presence underscores the event’s commitment to transgender visibility and celebration, particularly meaningful during a time of increased challenges to transgender rights across the country.
Beyond the music, the festival will feature art installations, vendor marketplaces, food courts, and wellness areas spread across the festival grounds. Community organizations will also have a significant presence, offering resources and information to attendees throughout the weekend.
Security measures have been enhanced for the 2025 festival, with organizers working closely with local law enforcement to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all participants. The festival grounds will feature multiple entry points, accessible facilities, and dedicated support services.
Tickets for the Outloud Music Festival will go on sale in early January, with various pricing tiers available. VIP packages will include exclusive viewing areas, dedicated lounges, and special artist experiences, creating an elevated experience for festival attendees.
