Retirement, according to Merriam-Webster dictionary means “withdrawal from one’s position or occupation or from active working life.” Are you kidding? That’s actually blasphemous to seniors James Parham, 75, and Cheryl Chaney, 66, residents of the New Jersey Englewood Senior Living complex. For Parham, pimping ain’t dead!
Parham is accused of pimping and selling crack and Chaney allegedly provided crack and allowed fellow residents to smoke crack in her apartment.
Close your mouth. Take a deep breath. This story keeps getting better. The prostitutes were both seniors who lived in the building and younger non-residents. Allegedly, Parham ran the “whorehouse” while Chaney oversaw the “crack house.”
The elderly perpetrators are being charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and maintaining a nuisance, and Chaney is also charged with possession of crack cocaine. Englewood, NJ police chief Arthur O’Keefe reported to the media that the sex and drug use was overt and occurred in “common areas” of the building.
