Kevin Hart’s charitable donations stolen from Philadelphia rec centers

Early last month we reported that actor and comedian Kevin Hart had put all his hard earned money to work, donating $250,000 in the form of state-of-the-art computers and laptops to the Philadelphia school system and a handful of recreational centers.

Police are now searching for the culprit who stole those charitable donations on December 12. What makes this crime even more heartbreaking is that it looks like someone on the inside got greedy, as authorities report there were no signs of forced entry. Police also report that the theft is similar to two past breaking and entering situations at other Philadelphia rec centers.

Hart, who was immediately made aware of the situation, blasted the thieves via Instagram: “This is a message to all of the kids at the schools that were affected… ignorance like this only motivates me to do more… I will be back but I’m doing bigger & better this time. I put on for my city.”

With no reported leads, the investigation is on going. – ruthie hawkins/@ruubabie
