Africa Miranda of Bravo TV’s highly anticipated docu-drama “The New Atlanta,” is more than just a pretty face with a fabulous head of hair and a plethora of major international campaigns with Coca-Cola, Mary Kay and Creme of Nature. Miranda is on a journey to the ultimate success;  looking for love and taking her career to the next level.

Rolling out caught up with the performer earlier this week and she spilled the beans on life, love and taking the musical scene by storm.

As a young child, Miranda quickly fell in love with the arts, taking piano, violin and ballet lessons, all of which influenced her current eclectic project, The Lipstick Junkies. Miranda touches on The Lipstick Junkies featuring Black Caviar and The Ray of Sunshine, promising that …

“You will be entertained. Lipstick Junkies is where Broadway meets cabaret. We play ourselves but turn it up a notch, by introducing you to our alter egos. I play Africa Miranda, but my alter ego is the super sexy Cocoa Butter. It’s a lot of fun!” says Miranda.

You can catch Africa and her team of seasoned live performers gracing the stages of Atlanta, delivering dynamic performances along with special guests like R&B sensation Ne-Yo, Tyler Perry and more.

“I definitely want a traditional family. You will see a little bit of my search for love in Atlanta on ‘The New Atlanta’ and the drama that stirs up with Alex, and how finding that balance between career and looking for love can be a challenge,” says Miranda when queried about her search for love.

While “The New Atlanta” is sure to deliver the delicious drama Bravo TV is known for, Miranda insists that they are not “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.”

“Those women already have their success and you know, that is great to see, but we just aren’t there yet. We’re just trying to make it,” she says.

Will Miranda find love and success? Catch Africa and the rest of “The New Atlanta” cast Sept. 17 at 10 EST for the season premiere.
