For months, Power 105’s DJ Envy has put his marriage woes in the limelight and even revealed that he cheated on his pregnant wife, Gia Casey, and nearly pushed them to divorce. Although Envy has remained mum about who the other woman was, “Love & Hip Hop’s” Erica Mena recently confirmed rumors that it was her and she claims that she has the evidence to expose Envy.
“I started messing with somebody that was beneath me. A bird. Evil. A liar. Somebody that was desperate and it’s just so pathetic,” said Envy last week during a taping of his radio show. “I mean I didn’t have to feed this person. I didn’t have to make her feel special, because she wasn’t. So that’s what it was.”
And though he mentioned no name, Mena claims that she was in fact the other woman and that Envy crossed the line by saying she’s beneath him.
“Men always wanna call you out your name once they in the wrong and [you’re] gone. If I’m all you call me out to be NOW What’s that make you?” she tweeted after Envy’s confession. “Truth is If I would have never found about her Envy would still be hiding her. His forced to stay but I help save his half.”
Now, Mena claims that she’s going to release pictures to prove that she and Envy were romantically involved.
“Being that you told your wife Everything & Now Your calling me out my name I decided let’s show her Pics In my book #underneathItAll April,” she tweeted.
Mena also spoke to Vibe Vixen and claimed that Envy deceived her into believing that he wasn’t married when they were together.
“DJ Envy’s definitely talking about me, but I’m one of many. I was under the assumption that he had kids but wasn’t actually married. I found out around the time that I started filming ‘Love & Hip-Hop.’ After I found out, I was still in shock because we were together for so long. I didn’t understand how he could take a vow as serious as marriage and take on a whole other relationship,” she said.
