It’s no secret that Khloe Kardashian and her husband, Lamar Odom, are in a rough spot in their marriage. The two recently announced that they’re putting their show “Khloe & Lamar” on hold until they figure things out, including Odom’s career. But for those think the couple is divorcing, Kardashian says that’s just “not an option.”
“We just wanted to prioritize a little,” Kardashian told People. “We just wanted a little pause. Part of being married is knowing when your husband needs your support.”
Kardashian explained that she went to great lengths to protect her husband and their marriage from the blast of the spotlight, making sure cameras weren’t around on days when Odom had a basketball game.
Now, the couple will keep their private life even further from the spotlight and will only appear on “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,”
“There’s less pressure on us,” said Kardashian.
Though Kardashian’s success has been built around sharing her private life with the world, she explains that the pressure to succeed will never outweigh her desire to make her marriage work.
“I’m a modern girl, but you should put your husband first,” she said. “I like to think divorce is not an option.”
