McDonald’s Presents “Nights at the Oasis” Featuring McCafé
The
Black McDonald’s Operators Association (BMOA) presents “Nights at the
Oasis,” a live jazz and poetry series. Hosted by V103’s on-air
personality Sundance, this after work set presented an opportunity for
trendsetters to wind down with smooth groove performances by Chicago’s
own poet impresario J. Ivy and acclaimed urban jazz ensemble Zzaje at
McDonald’s on 167th & Pulaski. The biggest star of the evening was
the rich and bold McCafés, which patrons indulged in throughout the
evening. Warm, creamy espresso and smooth sounds made a perfect pair on
this snowy evening.
“McDonald’s is committed to meeting the
product needs of our customers. As you know we launched our premium
roast coffee [McCafé]. We are really beginning to engage our customers
by demonstrating that we can meet their coffee needs. The great thing
about McDonald’s and McCafé is that we can deliver a quality product,
comparable to what you may get at a competitor, whether it’s a mocha,
cappuccino or a latte. Value is something that we feel strongly about
delivering to our customers,” shares Derrick Ross, marketing manager
for McDonald’s Corporation. –yvette caslin
