Fans of “Basketball Wives” have noticed that, since the cast was nearly cut in half last season, the series seems to be imploding while its remaining stars seem to be exploding with each other both on camera and on Twitter, resulting in the public fallouts of series BFFs Tami Roman, Evelyn Lozada and Shaunie O’Neal. Now, after another recent Twitter beef between Roman and Lozada, Roman is opening up about the demise of her reality TV friendships.
During a recent interview with TT Torrez, Roman broke down her strained friendship with O’Neal and explained that, although she does not necessarily dislike O’Neal and vice versa, she and the “BBW” producer aren’t speaking with each other anymore.
“People have asked me do we speak since taping, and I said, ‘No, we don’t speak.’ Every girl called me when my mother passed and then I haven’t spoken to them since. Now, the shows are airing and I’m saying my opinion on the show. I don’t necessarily think that means I don’t like her or she doesn’t like me. So, I think that might have been taken out of context,” Roman said.
Well, it seems like things in real life are playing out just as they have on the show. Roman’s real-life falling out with Lozada is explosive while her fallout with O’Neal is just, well, quiet and dead.
