“Law & Order: SVU” has built a reputation off of ripping stories from the news headlines. Creator Dick Wolf and the writers of the show decided to take on Chris Brown and Rihanna’s controversial relationship.
Although the names were changed, the story was basically the same. Only this time, the story ends tragically.
